NBIC NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH
March is National Women’s History Month, a time to celebrate the years of hard work to achieve equity goals for females and to ensure the history of American women will be recognized and celebrated in communities and workplaces throughout the country. In celebration of Women’s History month, we would like to congratulate two of our women, who have already received public recognition from the Nashville Business Journal and by Nashville Electric Service.
Michelle Perry, Emerald Resource. The Nashville Business Journal recently published their 2015 Book of Lists. The Book of Lists provides listings of hundreds of the hottest area companies in their fields, by ranking. Emerald Resource was ranked 15th on the list of Top 100 Women-owned businesses in Nashville. Michelle, a disabled veteran of the first Gulf War, left the Army, went back to school to earn both bachelor and master degrees, and then started her business. Emerald Resource LLC is a construction, technology and telecommunications service, solution and installation firm specializing in turnkey solutions from end to end.
